Ataru: Say Goodbye

The past couple of months I've been working hard on writing and illustrating my fantasy novel called Ataru, where the main character Ataru (boy with golden hair) leaves his restrictive and depressive hometown to journey into the so-called promised land, in hopes to find happiness and the place where he truly belongs. On his venture he is being guided by spirit and protected by a mighty samurai leader, who's true identity is far off from a noble warrior. It takes place in Japan during wartime and the story is going to be critical towards warfare and the declining beliefs of society. Also, it's kinda of a love story 🤫🤭😉
